Automatic data synchronization
TeamDrive automatically and in the background ensures that all files in your TeamDrive Spaces are available on all devices All members of your TeamDrive space always have the current version.
As soon as the status of a file is changed in any way, TeamDrive synchronizes immediately and highly secure end-to-end encrypted this new status with the central TeamDrive server. As a rule and by default this is the TeamDrive Cloud.
The TeamDrive server, in turn, transmits the status directly to all other devices of all members of a TeamDrive space.
This means that all other team members have the latest status on their devices as quickly and promptly as possible.
If there is no internet connection, any changes made during this time will still be recorded. The synchronization will then start immediately after the internet connection is restored.
The prerequisite for working with TeamDrive and automatically comparing file versions is that you have the TeamDrive app installed locally on your computer/smartphone.
The TeamDrive app integrates into the file management programs of your operating system (Windows, Apple, Linux, Android, etc.).
You can still create file folders, rename or delete files, and perform other file management operations as usual using your usual tools (Windows File Explorer, Apple Finder, etc.).
Alternatively, you can even forego installing the TeamDrive app entirely if you use the browser-based TeamDrive web app use.
