Receive large files (Inbox)
Even people who do not use TeamDrive can send you securely encrypted data/files – for example an applicant who needs to submit their application documents digitally.
For this purpose, you can easily use the so-called digital mailbox from TeamDrive. You can turn any file folder on your local computer hard drive into a digital inbox.
This creates a link/URL that you can send to the person who wants to transfer files to you.
Clicking on this link opens an upload form in the browser, which is used to upload the files.
Another advantage is that the file weight of the file to be transferred only plays a minor role – unlike many email providers, which often limit the upload of email attachments to just a few MB. A limit for the file weight is only determined by the remaining storage capacity that is still unused in the cloud storage space you have booked. Otherwise, you are not subject to any restrictions regarding file weight
The sent or uploaded files then end up directly in the digital mailbox you have set up.
Any number of inboxes can be set up. Each inbox can be protected with a password and other parameters such as permitted file types, size and number of files can be set.
