To reset your standard TeamDrive user password while logged into the TeamDrive client
this includes the TeamDrive WebClient, please do the following:
- Navigate to the main view of the TeamDrive client and click on your username/email address to open the profile window.
- At the bottom of the profile window you will see “reset password”. Click “reset password”.
- On the following screen you will see a message stating that a temporary password will be sent to your registered email address (which is the email address connected to the TeamDrive username you are reseting the password for). You will also see the button “reset password”. Click “reset password” to have the temporary password sent to your registered email address.
- On the following screen you will see three entry fields: “temporary password”, “new password” and “repeat password”. Please remain at this screen until you have received the temporary password via email, as leaving this screen will cause you to have to start the password reset process over again.
- Once you have received the temporary password, enter it in the field “temporary password”.
- Afterwards, enter your new password in the field “new password” and repeat your new password in the field “repeat password”.
- Click “save” to update your password.
To reset your standard TeamDrive user password via the TeamDrive log in screen
this includes the TeamDrive client, WebClient and online shop log in screens, please do the following:
- At the login screen, click on “forgot password?” (or the link to reset your password — TeamDrive online shop), enter your TeamDrive username and click on “request temporary password”.
- A temporary password will then be sent to your registered email address (which is the email address connected to the TeamDrive username you are reseting the password for).
- On the following screen you will see the entry fields “temporary password”, “new password” and “repeat password”. Please remain at this screen until you have received the temporary password via email, as leaving this screen will cause you to have to start the password reset process over again.
- Once you have received the temporary password, enter it in the field “temporary password”.
- Afterwards, enter your new password in the field “new password” and repeat your new password in the field “repeat password”.
- Click “save” to update your password.
