The Groups feature is split into two areas.
  1. Administration
  2. Zero-Knowledge-Principle
This means that Account-Manager can create groups and manage their members. However, no other person can know in which spaces groups find use. Thereby is guaranteed that we stay true to our Zero-Knowledge-PrincipleIn order to create and manage a group, you must be account-manager of your account. Additionally, you will need access to the advanced administration-console. This access will be granted automatically once you manage more or equal to ten (10) licenses and users within your account, and you will need at least one professional license.
The link to the advanced administration-console can be found within the shop after the login beneath the header “Licenses/Depots” on the window in the middle once you scrolled all the way down.

Terminology:

• Group Name
The group name must be unique! That means that it can only exist once globally.

• Group Owner
The group owner must be set. If the group owner is deleted, the group will then be deleted, too. The exception is if the group has already been connected with an account. The group owner is automatically the sender for group inviations.

• Scope
The scope defines which array of user have the rights to invite that group into any space. The options within the scope window sort the scale of size by small to large, starting from the owner of the group and ranging to public rights to invite that group into any space.

• Read Only / Anonymous group
Anonymous group only possess rights to read. That means that no user within a group can see another user from the same group. The only person who can access this information are those with rights to manage those groups within the advanced administration-console.
