Detlef Schmuck: “Protection from sun, warnings and tax office”
Hamburg, 28 August 2019 – The heat wave is dangerous not only for people, but also for computers and hard drives. Therefore, the Hamburg-based cloud service provider advises transferring important data into a cloud. If the computer or hard disk is destroyed by the heat, at least the data will continue to be available in the cloud. TeamDrive offers a cloud service free of charge for private use at www.teamdrive.de . The clou is that the TeamDrive service automatically compares the data between the hard disk and the cloud without you having to worry about it yourself.
Commercial users, freelancers, self-employed persons and companies can use the service from 4.95 euros net per month (with annual payment). An important advantage for business use: TeamDrive meets all current legal requirements with regard to the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (GDPR) and the principles of proper digital bookkeeping (GoBD). Companies that do not meet these legal requirements must expect severe penalties.
“TeamDrive not only saves you from the sun, but also from warnings and tax estimates from the tax office,” says TeamDrive Managing Director Detlef Schmuck. Even during the first heat wave of this summer, incidents occurred in data centers.
