The German Institute for Service Quality compares twelve cloud services on behalf of n-tv

Hamburg, 5 March 2020 – The German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) has tested twelve providers of cloud services on behalf of the news channel n-tv: Hamburg-based TeamDrive Systems GmbH took first place in the overall ranking. The application can be downloaded from www.teamdrive.com. Private use is permanently free of charge. For companies, there are fees starting at 4.95 EUR per month. The results of the test are available at https://disq.de/2020/20200305-Cloud-Anbieter.html.

The German Institute for Service Quality wrote: “TeamDrive emerged from the study as the test winner with the quality rating ‘good’. The provider offers the best Internet presence in the industry. Interested parties are informed very extensively about various aspects of the cloud, such as the system requirements or the data protection regulations in accordance with the EU-GDPR (European General Data Protection Regulations). In addition, the website provides a lot of general information, such as a glossary explaining technical terms. In addition, the employees respond professionally and correctly both on the phone and by e-mail.”

“We are delighted about the award,” says TeamDrive Managing Director Detlef Schmuck, thanking the Hamburg-based company for the award and referring to other seals of quality that the company has already received. For example, TeamDrive’s cloud service was awarded the “European Privacy Seal” (EuroPriSe) at the beginning of the year. The seal confirms that TeamDrive meets the very highest standards of data protection. This highest level of data protection in Germany is characterized by the fact that the software and services may be used by professional secrecy holders in accordance with paragraph 203 of the German Criminal Code (§203 StGB). These include, for example, lawyers, doctors, tax consultants, auditors, public officials and other professional groups, who are legally obliged to maintain confidentiality about professional matters. For example, many lawyers already use the TeamDrive solution offered by the German Bar Association (DAV). The Diplomatic Council, a global think tank that advises the United Nations, has awarded TeamDrive Systems GmbH the title of “Trusted Member”. A study by the UN think tank recently ranked TeamDrive first among twelve providers of cloud services, as did the German Institute for Service Quality.
