No server of your own required, yet full control over where your data is hosted – choose freely between cloud, hybrid, or on-premise. SMEs don’t have to choose between their own IT infrastructure and the cloud. TeamDrive can be run as a fully hosted cloud service in Germany, as a hybrid solution, or entirely on-premise on your own servers. If you already work with Microsoft services, you can also choose Azure Cloud or OneDrive as your storage location. Control over the server location remains entirely with your company – with no investment in your own server hardware required.

All data is end-to-end encrypted according to the zero-knowledge principle before it reaches the cloud. The encryption keys remain exclusively with your company – TeamDrive itself never has technical access to content, either when it is stored or when it is shared. TeamDrive automatically backs up all files and versions every change, so earlier states can be restored at any time. Point-in-time recovery snapshots let you roll data back to a state prior to infection even after a ransomware attack – without paying a ransom and without data loss. Backups run in the background, with no manual intervention required from employees.
